Volunteer Information...

Each day, new animals arrive at the shelter hoping for new homes. We have so many chores that need to be done on a daily basis to make this happen.  The following is a list of things we need help with:

Cleaning, Socializing, Grooming, Fundraising, Writing Newsletters, Promoting our Website and Locating Resources (i.e. getting Wal-Mart or K-Mart to donate broken bags of food and litter).

Also, many kittens and puppies come to us at a very young age and require tender care and special feedings to encourage their growth.  Often, these animals are "fostered" out to caring volunteers until they're ready to return to the shelter for adoption.  If you spend a good amount of time at home, fostering might be just right for you.

All volunteers must sign a waiver and MUST be at least 21 years old.
